Ameron International PC&F Europe

Ameron B.V. in Geldermalsen, the Netherlands is part of Ameron International Corporation and operates two of Ameron's product groups: Ameron Performance Coatings & Finishes Europe and Ameron Fiberglass & Composite Pipe Group/Europe. The Ameron BV operation in the Netherlands exists of sales offices, laboratories, warehouses and several European manufacturing facilities providing products and services in Europe, Africa, Middle-East and CIS countries.

Ameron Performance Coatings & Finishes Europe
Ameron Performance Coatings & Finishes Europe has grown through the acquisition of quality product lines from other companies. In 1996, Ameron purchased the Devoe marine coatings business of Imperial Chemical Industries PLC. The acquisition made Ameron the largest supplier of high-performance marine and offshore coatings in the United States and also greatly expanded the company's sales and service network and global presence in these markets.

Early in 1997, Ameron also acquired the world-wide Valspar maintenance coatings business. Valspar's highly regarded coatings products are now being made and sold by Ameron in the industrial US market under the VyGuard brand. With the 1998 acquisition of UK-based Croda Coatings, Ameron acquired major facilities and market share in England, Australia and New Zealand.

Ameron Performance Coatings & Finishes Europe serves marine, industrial and offshore markets in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the CIS-countries.

The Markets
Ameron Performance Coatings & Finishes manufactures and markets an extensive line of proprietary high-performance coatings, finishes, floorings, and surfacing systems under the trade names Amercoat®, Amerlock®, Amershield™, Dimetcote®, Tideguard®, Nu-Klad® and PSX®. These products are protective and decorative coatings for steel and concrete, commercial and industrial equipment, oil and gas production, refining, petrochemical processing, marine, infrastructure maintenance, railroad, fossil and nuclear power, general manufacturing, municipal water and waste treatment.

The Fiberglass Pipe Group/Europe
The Fiberglass Pipe Group/Europe serves industrial, military, marine, offshore and oilfield markets in Europe, Africa, the CIS countries and the Middle East with high-performance glassfiber reinforced epoxy and phenolic piping systems of up to 1000 mm (40") in diameter and pressure classes of up to 245 bar (3500 psi).
