Crone, history of almost half a century
In 1960 our founder Wim Crone designed his very first boiler. It appeared to be a bang on the target. It did not take long for W.K. Crone B.V. to become a leading supplier of boilers for the greenhouse horticulture branch.

W.K. Crone B.V., nowadays under supervision of Jenny Crone, still has this reputation. Due to a constant level of quality, reliability in every aspect of its business, value for money and various innovations in boiler techniques.
Meanwhile the name Crone has become well-known in various industrial branches. With technically advanced equipment, Crone is able to construct a wide range of equipment, mostly related to the boiler in their round shape. It goes without saying that products are manufactured in conformity with the ISO 9001 standards.

Crone's expertise and skills are well-known throughout the world. Clients in the Netherlands and across the Dutch borders appreciate dealing with Crone when it comes to quality. This quality is guaranteed by producing in accordance with the standards of 'Dienst voor het Stoomwezen', Lloyd's Register, Det. Norske Veritas, TÜV and ASME. Since attaining the ASME authorisation, Crone supplies boilers and equipment to the American market as well.

Crone is specialised in 'total production' with a unique result on each occasion. Whether it is cutting, rolling, constructing or welding, Crone realises all this in her modern equipped workshop in Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel. The boiler or the equipment ordered by you will be custom made and constructed at one location. There will be fewer contacts and precious time will be saved co-ordinating each project from order to delivery. And it does not stop at that... Even after delivery we remain at your service. If necessary, you can use our own repair service, 24 hours a day on stand-by.

Reliability
Our clients often have to face tight schedules. This in turn means they have to be able to rely on the word of their suppliers when it comes to the time of delivery. Crone is well aware of this situation. Therefore a considerable amount of time is spent on planning and co-ordinating to be able to realise what was agreed upon. It is seen as an investment in, what we hope, will be a longstanding relationship with the client.
