Imtech Vonk is a Dutch based company and member of the Imtech group, an organisation with a wide range of technical expertise.Having its main office in Coevorden, The Netherlands, local representatives can be found in various countries worldwide.

Based on a continuous growing experience, Imtech Vonk is executing projects in which the multidiscipline component is growing rapidly.

History
Vonk was founded in 1937 by Ing. Arjen Vonk. At this date Mr. Arjen Vonk started his activities in the field of electronics and electrical installation work for among others the Dutch Oil Company (NAM). These activities evolved into the design and fabrication of electrical switchgear and (control) panels. Although the designs were very inventive at that time he could never have dreamed of the sophisticated and state-of-the-art systems as presently designed, engineered, fabricated and commissioned.

Many people still know Vonk from the “old” times and may remember the previous logo. This logo was replaced by the current logo in the early ‘90’s.

Single Supplier Responsibility
Imtech Vonk operates nowadays towards operators, contractors and engineering companies as a (sub)contractor for electrical, instrumentation and mechanical process packages. Elimination of interface problems between different systems, and a clear definition with respect to contractual liabilities / responsibilities are the basis for this approach. Early involvement of Imtech Vonk can contribute to a well balanced project execution.
