Lightronics’ origins go back to 1946 when its predecessor, Hogro, was founded in Waalwijk just after the war years. In 1999, this company became a member of the Gropeco b.v. holding and received a new name: Lightronics. Since then, Lightronics has entered a new phase in regard to its professional approach, innovation, flexibility, quality, product line, market approach and integrated provision of services.
At this time, the company’s Research & Development Department designs, develops, specifies and selects all products as based on targeted market research and the latest developments in modern technology. Other important factors integrated into the design process are today’s demands for durability, environmental responsibility, reusable materials and low-maintenance concepts. Research into the lighting effects of products is conducted in our own lighting laboratory. The services of leading designers are used when it comes to defining the look of our products.
Lightronics’ goal is to offer the most complete line of products possible: products that meet the needs of all market segments, applications and quality requirements. At the same time, our company’s size and culture allows us to be flexible in anticipating the need for a customised approach.
