Locamation

Locamation is a Dutch company located on the Business and Science park in Enschede near the Technical University. Since our start in 1983 we have continuously invested in development and production of industrial electronics and real-time software systems. Thanks to our strategy to provide our OEM business partners a leading edge with innovative, high performance, cost effective, reliable and flexible products, we have gained a respectable market position.

Summary of our activities

Our Industrial Computer group supplies over 1000 high-tech computer and data acquisition products so that we can meet any specification and build systems to your exact requirements.

Our Distributed Control systems are scalable from small to very large systems with redundant fiber optic fieldbusses, redundant control systems, intelligent bay modules and up to 45.000 I/O points that are controlled within one millisecond.

Our Substation Automation group supplies advanced and flexible protection and control systems for high voltage electric substations to contract partners.

Our ARTOS real-time software is an optimised distributed operating system with all facilities for real-time multiprocessor and real-time network configurations including Internet support and advanced development tools.

Our Embedded Controllers are especially designed for OEM customers, requiring cost effective solutions with advanced real-time software facilities.
